My intention for this session was to be able to sleep more deeply. I work night shifts as a nurse, and settling into sleep during the day is incredibly difficult.
The experience was new and felt a little strange at first, but I relaxed quickly. I had vivid imagery, saw colours, and felt tingling across my face. I drifted into a deep and restorative state – restful but not asleep. It was the most comfortable I had felt in a long time, and I didn’t want to leave that space. Afterwards, I felt lighter, peaceful, relaxed and joyful.
During the second session, after another tough night at work, I went into a very deep state again and left feeling extremely calm. Later, my husband mentioned that he noticed how much more relaxed I had been since the session, which really affirmed the change I felt.
